The history of Luzhou liquor industry has started since Qin and Han dynasties, rose in Tang and Song dynasties, and boomed in Ming and Qing dynasties. As an old enterprise, Luzhoulaojiao Group Co., Ltd is world-wide famous compared with other liquor industries. After foundation of People¡¯s Republic of China, 36 brewery mills which flourishing in Ming and Qing Dynasties have become into Luzhoulaojiao Group Co., Ltd. It covers area of 3900,000 square meters, and owns 6000 employees. Actually, Luzhoulaojiao Co., Ltd has been developed into a large key state industry, the total asset valued RMB 3 billion (the market value amounted to RMB 20 billion in 2006).
Luzhoulaojiao Co., Ltd, the core part of Group, listed on stock market in 1994. In 2005, the reform of stock ownership division had been implemented successfully. As a result, Luzhoulaojiao Co., Ltd became the management centre and image centre of company.
Luzhoulaojiao Co., Ltd-owned wine brewing corporation has 10084 old cellars, of which more than 100 -year-old ones amount to 1619.
As the quality centre and cost-control centre, the liquor storage capacity of the brewing corporation reaches 80,000 tons and the packaging production capacity achieves to 150,000 tons. And as a professional marketing company, our sales corporation sells more than 60,000 tons Luzhoulaojiao liquor. It is the brand-figure centre and profit-creating centre.

One is National cellar 1573, which was awarded Key History Sites Under State Protection by State Department in 1996, as the earliest and best-preserved liquor cellar group in China. Vice-president of the NPC standing committee Li Tieying named it ¡°The First Cellar In China¡±. In 2006, it was listed in Preliminary Catalog Of the World Cultural Inheritance by National Heritage Board.
The other is Traditional Brewing Technology of Luzhoulaojiao Liquor, which was listed in the Catalog Of Chinese National Intangible Cultural Heritage at May 2006, as the only representative of all Sichuan liquor and the apotheosis of strongly aroma. Besides, our corporation established the first organic raw cereal base, the first key laboratory of liquor-brew technology and application, and the first research center of liquor biotechnology in China. And it won a glory name that ¡° the old and famous shop in China¡± earlier than other liquor companies. As the only one who is in possession of two national liquor-brew masters and six national liquor raters, the potential for development of Luzhoulaojiao is very large. Furthermore it had created 7 Guinness records at one time. The product ¡°Luzhou Laojiao Te Qu¡± is the only kind of liquor which gained five consecutive honors of ¡°Famous wine of China¡±. And the thesis ¡°Research about technology of National cellar liquor¡± knocked off a ¡°First Prize Of Scientific And Technology Progress in Sichuan¡±, which is the highest award in the field of liquor research. All of these honors made Luzhoulapjiao as the grandfather of strongly aroma in China.

Luzhou Laojiao Te Qu is one of the four most famous and oldest liquor in China.After winning a gold medal of Panama-Pacific international exposition in1915, Te Qu won another 17 international medals as well. Luzhoulaojiao yearly liquor is a special kind which must been hided in the liquor caves for thousands of days after closure of crocks. It has awarded as ¡®Real Old Liquor¡¯ by the National Liquor And Processed Foods Test Center for its good quality. It had established the standard of Chinese strongly aroma.
At the first liquor-assessment meeting of China in 1952, Luzhoulaojiao liquor was identified as Typical Representative Of Strongly Aromar by the state. The trademark ¡®Luzhou¡¯ is one of the first ten well-known trademarks of China.
Because inheritance integrates with innovation, the action that advancing with the times will write a new chapter. Luzhou distillery industry development zone which is now constructing has been using industrial clusters as basis and chosen ¡°OEM¡± as a means for working procedure connecting. Relying on advantages of Luzhou distillery industry, it tightly connects liquor enterprises, packaging materials enterprises and logistic distribution enterprises.
